“It has been a pleasure seeing Hudson grow into the racer and young man that he has become in our several years working together. His preparation, Drive, and talent have all matured exponentially and his finishing results are showing just that. I look forward to seeing what he can accomplish as a Racecar driver moving forward. ”
Chris Dilbeck
“Hudson has proved to be a quick learner. Despite his limited time behind the wheel of a late model, he has already showcased his great talent and commitment to finding speed. It's been impressive to witness his progress, and we (Hornaday Development) look forward to continuing to work with him as he progresses in motorsports.”
Team Hornaday
“To only have 3 years of racing experience, Hudson has come a long way in a short period of time in developing his race craft. His desire to master the basics all while keeping focus on a general progression of moving up the “racing ladder”, are 2nd to none. Along with a great family behind him, & the determination to succeed that I see in him, I expect great results & future opportunities for him.”
Ragan Racing
Team Hornaday Development has announced that Hudson Bulger, the 17-year-old Fort Valley, Georgia native, will compete full-time in the zMAX CARS Tour Pro Late Model season in 2024.
Bulger will pilot the No. 17 Hamke Pro Late Model for Hudson Bulger Racing. The young driver brings an experienced crew with him to the 2024 season, with Chris Dilbeck as his spotter and Brett Ragan as his crew chief.
“As someone who has been at the highest levels of racing, it's very gratifying to be able to play a small part in helping lay a foundation for a kid climbing the racing ladder. I'm just glad I can use some of my past experiences to help shorten Hudson's learning curve,” Ragan said. “The CARS Tour has a lot of hype & excitement around it right now. We are looking forward to being a part of that, as well as being able to run some new & different tracks, some of which I've never been to before in my racing background. We feel very privileged to be able to be a part of such professionally run series to continue Hudson's development."
